Welcome to our Toddler Room

Our toddler room offers 12 places for children aged between 2 to 3 years.  The staff ratio in this age range is 1 member of staff to 4 children.  There are three members of staff in the toddler room that work together to plan activities to promote all areas of development.  Some of the activities include painting, cutting, messy play, music and movement, sand and water play, construction, basic number 1 to 5, shape and mark making.  We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. 

Your child will have a key worker for their time spent in the toddler room.  As in the baby room your child’s key worker will work with them to achieve their best potential.  Observations will be recorded in your child’s record of achievement. 

Your child’s key worker will also work with you as and when your child is ready to toilet train.

If your child requires a sleep during the day there is a quiet area with sleep mats and blankets.
