Baby Room
Little Acorns baby room offers 6 places for babies aged from 6 weeks to 2 years. The staff ratio in this room is 1 member of staff to 3 children. The baby room has a carpeted play/sleep area and a messy play/dining area.
We offer an extensive range of stimulating toys and activities to stimulate and encourage your child’s development. These activities include baking, a range of painting techniques, sticking, play dough, sand and water.
Each child has a key worker who will make observations whilst the children are playing and carrying out activities. These observations are put into your child’s Record of Achievement file, which is available for you to look at whenever you wish. These observations are also used to plan further activities and experiences to meet the needs of the individual child.
