Tweenie Room
Our tweenie room offers places for six children aged 18 months to two years. The staff ratio in this room is the same as the baby room, one staff to three children.
At the age of 18 months your child may be integrated gradually into the tweenie room. This is dependent on parent’s preference, child’s preference and availability in the tweenie room.
As your child is now becoming more mobile the range of toys and equipment available are specifically chosen for your child’s individual needs. These include more table top activities as well as floor toys.
To develop your child’s social skills the tweenies meet with the toddlers at meal times. We feel this is an important learning curve for you child’s development.
The children in the tweenie room use the creative room for messy play including sand, water, play dough, painting, collage and other messy activities.
